FLUFF MAIL!!!

I got my fluff mail today!! (translation: I received my cloth diapers today) I have been diapering little G in prefolds and covers for the past 2 months and wanted to try out the pocket diapers. I have 3 right now 1 fuzzibunz and 2 Bumgenius 4.0's I had ordered more FB but they changed their manufacturing location and their quality along with it. (more on that in another post) so i returned those for store credit with kellyscloset.com. When I ordered the FB they came with a free diaper which was a BG4.0 with snaps I then had 2 one albert with aplix and one clementine with snaps. I loved them and everytime they were clean i used them immediately and was sad i had no more. Funny considering I was happy with the prefolds before and only looked into the pocket diapers to make things easy for daddy when he comes home from deployment. But I digress (which I do alot lol)  So I was looking into getting more BG 4.0 diapers and as luck would have it they were having their seconds sale when I checked the cottonbabies.com site. Seconds are second quality diapers. unused but just not first quality due to some defect or staining but totally functional. well I am vain but I decided if they worked they were worth the 6$ savings per dipe. I ordered 16 total and 2 freetime all in one dipes too. and today i recieved 7 pockets and 1 free time the rest will arrive shortly. I love them I had to search for the defects and I couldn't find any in most I was able to identify the defect in a few and it made me laugh. they are near perfect and I love them! I'll include pictures for those of you who are wary of purchasing seconds. You might not have my experience but I am overjoyed!

The Awesomeness that is ME

So I'm just gonna start out with a post to let you get to know me. I am happily married to a wonderful man. (Mr. Awesome) and the mother of a beautiful baby boy. 3 months old today. I love to craft and sew and knit and crochet and bake and cook and I love keeping house. I by no means consider myself hippie-esque however I do love to recycle and hate to throw things away. I try to find natural ways to clean to keep things healthy and fume free. My baby also has a cushie tush. in other words I am a happily cloth diapering mom and my baby's bum loves it. Despite my best attempts at humility I still love to show off my creations when I make them and my adventures in wifedom are something to behold lol So check-in with me now and then and I will bestow my awesome adventures upon you. ;)
